Asset Control Manager

Based at their new corporate head office in Delta, British Columbia, Canada, Heli-One (www.heli-one.ca) provides comprehensive helicopter support services to CHC Helicopter Corporation (www.chc.ca) and third party customers around the globe. Heli-One owns the world’s largest commercial fleet of medium and heavy helicopters and provides a wide range of services including engine and component repair and overhaul, inspections and modifications, completions, avionics, and integrated logistics support. The organization employs over 900 professionals at facilities in Canada, the USA, Norway, the Netherlands and the UK.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Inventory & Asset Strategy, the Asset Control Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies, methodologies, and systemization to maximize rotable spare parts asset utilization. Working closely with Component Planners, the individual develops and implements optimization algorithms that maximize asset utilization by driving systemic changes with internal stakeholders as well as external vendors.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a senior position in asset management in the aviation industry or a similar sector with a rich and geographically-dispersed asset base. Along with this background, you will bring a strong overall understanding of supply chain and inventory management. Your engineering degree or equivalent is complemented with a demonstrated technical background in planning and modeling. Extensive experience in establishing systems to maintain and track asset information and to measure and analyze asset data, statistical trends and risk models is necessary.
