Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources, the Manager, Compensation will proactively support total rewards and compensation programs at all levels at the Vancouver Airport Authority. The incumbent will be responsible for the payroll, benefit compensation and pension program administration and overall salary budget for the Authority and will oversee a small team of dedicated professionals along with managing contracts with external service providers. In addition, the Manager will act as the liaison between the HR department and internal stakeholders including the finance department, pension committee and others as required. As the ideal candidate, you are a dynamic and progressive compensation professional with a desire to use your analytical skills to support compensation programs at the managerial levels. You will have an ability to influence and affect meaningful change, and have a well developed adaptive style working with others, shifting demands, and changing priorities. You bring a minimum of five years experience working at a management or senior level position affecting compensation practices. You value team work and as such, you are a master at building and maintaining positive relationships with external service providers and supporting the success of the HR team.
