Kal Tire’s Mining Tire Group (MTG) is comprised of over 1000 team members providing service to 120 mine sites in 17 countries around the world, with revenue in excess of CAN $400 Million. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Mining Tire Group, the Director, International Sales will be responsible for leading the international sales efforts of the Mining Tire division. The primary focus of the position is the development and execution of strategies to build new long-term business opportunities globally as well as the enhancement of relationships with existing clients and partners. As an integral member of the leadership team within the MTG, the Director, International Sales is directly involved in the development and execution of divisional strategy and growth initiatives. As the ideal candidate you possess a minimum of 10 years of related sales leadership and/or business development experience within a global sales environment that has experienced rapid growth and expansion. Besides this, you have a strategic leadership orientation with highly developed communication skills, relationship development abilities, and a proven track record in exceeding objectives in sales revenue, profitability, customer service, and new account development. You thrive in a collaborative, team-based work environment and consistently demonstrate an enthusiastic and positive attitude. An understanding of the mining industry, commercial OTR tires, mechanical services, heavy industrial machinery and related technology is preferred. In addition, fluency in Spanish would be extremely beneficial.
